P B Sreenivas was born. He was a Playback singing and well versed in
Carnatic music. But he is always remembered for being the pioneer in
introducing Ghazal culture to these parts of the nation. He has sung in
Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam films. Wishesh joins his
million fans across the globe, in wishing the veteran a 'Very Happy,
Healthy Birthday.'

A magazine dedicated to the Geographical development across the globe

Tirupati: Devotees rush
surges and sources say that 31 compartments are filled with devotees to
have a glimpse of the Lord. Ordinary darshan will just take a minimum
seventeen hours for the devotees in queue. Tirumala is spruced up with
festive galore for the ongoing Brahmotsavam. Today being the fifth day,
the Lord along with his consorts will be taken out in procession in the
Garudotsavam, that shall commence at 8pm and stretch till 1 am in the
morning. The whole place will be lit up with lights and the devotees
line up in thousands for the special occasion. As for the day's
schedule, the Lord will be decorated in the Mohini Avataram in the
morning. In the evening Vunjal Seva (swing seva) will be celebrated for
the Lord. The day culminates with a mighty midnight procession.
The Hindu 'Kasturi':
'The Hindu,' an Indian National newspaper that pioneers in recording
news in addition to various other articles, is bereaved by the demise of
Sir G Kasturi who had pioneered in the modernization of the paper. The
doyen of print and journalism died in Chennai on Friday.
