JRD Tata as he is fondly mentioned was a French-born Indian who was the first licenced pilot from the country. He is known in the business circles for his high ethical standards and innovative skills.

Thursday-Morning-06 Tirupathi: Devotees influx is quite normal in the temple town. In the morning only eight compartments were filled with piligrims waiting to have darshan which might take maximum four hours. On Wednesday the Lord was invoked with sparkling deepams (lighted diyas) on account of Karthika Pournami. The number of piligrims who visited the shrine yesterday were 48,363.






Thursday-Morning-07Padayatra: TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu on his Vastunna Mee Kosam crosses Medak district and treks in the Nizamabad district for the second day today. The veteran shall be walknig across a stretch of nearly 17 kms while addressing many groups enroute.
YSR Congress party leader Sharmila on her 'Maro Praja Prasthanam would be treking in the Mahbubnagar distrcit and the stretch she would be covering is 17.5 kms for the day.

Nearly 66,250 devotees visited the temple town on Monday. The temple authorities plan to celebrate the Karthika Pournami utsav on Wednesday. 6 infants killed in 24 hours: MedicalCollege Hospital in Malda is once again in the news for all wrong reasons. At least six infants were killed in this hospital in less than 24 hours, which triggerred outcry across the nation. With this six infants' death, the death toll of babies mounted to 19 since Saturday. The hospital authorities maintained  that the kids were brought in critical condition who suffered with acute malnutrition.

India enters into agreement with China: The Government of India has entered into an agreement with China to develop railways. As per the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) both these countries would mutually cooperate on rail technology and know-how.

Corporal punishment: Jaipur girl who developed serious ailments after she was subjected to corporal punishment has succumbed to cancer on Friday. The eight-yer-old girl initially developed a wound when her teacher allegedly thrashed her in 2010 for not doing home work. The eye injury turned in to cancerous tumour, which eventually claimed her life.

 

Chandrababu-Meekosam  Vastunna Meekosam: TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu's padayatra, Vastunna Meekosam is going on full fledged in Rangareddy district. Today, Babu is going to resume his yatra from Veerappalli of the district. Notably, this is his tenth day tour in Rangareddy district. It is known that Chandrababu Naidu kick started Vastunna Meekosam on October 2 on the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi.




Chiru-and-NageswararaoChiranjeevi: Central minister Chiranjeevi last night offered prayers at Daiva Sannidhi, the temple in Film Nagar of Hyderabad. Later, he presented silk threads to Sri Anjaneya Swamy. Legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao met Chiranjeevi at his residence-after Chiru performed puja-and felicitated him with a shawl.
